A European event, for the first time in Italy
From 7 to 10 May, Naples will host for the first time in Italy the EYE – European Young Engineers Conference, an international event promoted by the Young Periti Industriali Association of the National Council of Periti Industriali and Graduate Periti Industriali (CNPI), in collaboration with the European organisation EYE – European Young Engineers.
The event will bring together young engineers and technical professionals from all over Europe, offering a unique opportunity for discussion, professional growth and international networking in one of the most fascinating cultural settings of the Mediterranean.
What is EYE – European Young Engineers
EYE is an international non-profit organisation representing approximately 500,000 young European engineers and technical professionals.
Through networking activities, training and cultural exchange, EYE promotes dialogue between different professional experiences and models, the sharing of a common vision on the challenges of contemporary engineering, the strengthening of the sense of belonging to a European engineering community, and the personal and professional growth of new generations of technicians.
EYE Conference 2026
Each year, the EYE Conference is hosted by a major European city.
In 2026, Naples will be the venue for the Italian edition, becoming, for four days, a European hub for young engineers, where ideas and visions will shape the future of energy and engineering.
The Naples conference will be dedicated to the Energy Transition, one of the key challenges for Europe’s future, a concept that brings together technical expertise, a European vision and responsibility towards future generations.
The theme will be developed through a plenary session, interactive workshops, industrial and cultural visits, networking and informal exchange moments, and a closing ceremony.
Programme overview
Plenary session
The plenary session will be structured around two main thematic areas:
• Renewable energy sources
• Energy carriers
Workshops and group work
Alongside the plenary sessions, the event will include thematic workshops of a general nature, with particular attention to soft skills and transversal competences. The workshop topics will be defined and developed during a preliminary Italian event scheduled for March in Rome.
Once the preliminary work in Rome has been completed, during the Naples conference participants will work in international groups to further develop the content that has emerged.
Workshop registrations will open at the end of March.
Industrial visits and cultural programme
The conference will be enriched by industrial visits to major companies, guided tours of the city of Naples, informal networking moments, a gala dinner, and dedicated transport services for official transfers.
The programme will combine technical and scientific content, culture, territory and international relations.
Closing ceremony
The conference will conclude with a closing ceremony, during which a brief overview of the results of the EYE Council Meeting will be presented.
Participation
A participation fee of €200 will be required, which includes the official activities of the event.
Registration details and the participation form will be available soon.
Updates will be published on this page as soon as registrations open.
